Cultural life

The Bokreta Folkdance Group

It was organised in the 1990s, representing the traditions up to the present time. Its members are youths who are very popular among the inhabitants and their shows and performances are very popular in the area and across the borders as well.

Another important step in keeping the traditions is the first Folk Art Camp organised in Crasna at the beginning of August, which has as its goal the revival, and keeping of our traditions.

Tinikomédiások

Another colour in our cultural life is the “Tinikomediasok” amateur theatrical group, founded in the year 2000 with lyceum students as members. They represented our commune on various local and national competitions and festivals. They won many different prizes throughout the years up to the present.

Throughout the year, we organize various programs:

Crasna’s Days (the first weekend of September)

Youth Fest (the middle of July)

Gentilitial Folf Dance Festival (yearly)

Traditional Grape-Picking Festival (yearly)

The Day of Men of Crasna (yearly, at the end of December)

The 15th of March

The 1st of December
